About MESH
What is MESH?
MESH is an artist workspace: the schedule, finances, files, music and rights, and analytics of each artist in one place, shared with the people you choose.
Who is MESH for?
Artists, bands, DJs and managers. Each artist has its own members, numbers and files, so a side project, an alias or several artists stay apart in one account.
What is in MESH?
A Profile page that exports as a press kit, Music (songs, releases, credits and splits, setlists, stage plots, playlists and the artist audience), Schedule (shows and other dates, To-Do and tour planning), Finances, Merch, Files and inventory, and Contacts.
Does MESH work on a phone?
Yes. MESH runs in the web browser on a phone or a computer, with the same account on each. It needs an internet connection.
Which languages is MESH in?
English and French: the whole app and the legal pages. Switch with the English and Français buttons on the sign-in card or in Settings.
Who makes MESH?
MESH Music Ltd., in Montréal, Quebec.
Signing up and signing in
When can I sign up?
Public sign-up opens in February 2027. Until then MESH is by invitation: join the waitlist on the home page and MESH will email you when sign-ups open. A person invited to an artist can sign up now with the invited address.
How do I sign in?
Enter your email address and press Send sign-in link. The email carries a link and an 8-digit code: open the link, or type the code into MESH.
What does creating an account ask?
Your email address, your date of birth (MESH is for people 18 or older) and your country. The rest is optional: what describes you best, how you heard about MESH, and whether you want product news by email.
Plans, trials and billing
What plans are there?
Three plans, by how many artists you run: Artist (1 artist, 10 GB of storage) at $11.99 a month, Roster (up to 3 artists, 50 GB) at $24.99 and Manager (up to 10 artists, 200 GB) at $59.99. Each has a Lite version: Artist Lite at $5.99, Roster Lite at $12.99 and Manager Lite at $29.99 a month.
Prices are in US dollars. Each plan is also sold by the year: $119.99, $249.99 and $599.99, or $59.99, $129.99 and $299.99 for the Lite plans.
What is a Lite plan?
The same artist counts as Artist, Roster and Manager for about half the price, with less storage and analytics for the artist audience only. Storage is 1 GB on Artist Lite, 3 GB on Roster Lite and 10 GB on Manager Lite, with uploads up to 0.5 GB, 1.5 GB and 5 GB each.
The artist audience page counts from the day each artist joins MESH. Release, track and playlist analytics and the full history are on the full plans; everything else is the same.
Is there a free trial?
Yes: 30 days of any plan, Lite included, with that plan’s limits. A card is asked to start and nothing is charged during the trial. When it ends, the plan continues at its price unless you cancelled before then.
What happens if I cancel during the trial?
Nothing is charged, and access to the plan stops when the trial ends. The artists created during the trial are kept for 14 more days, then deleted for good unless you choose a plan before then.
How do I cancel?
In the app, open Plans from Settings and press Cancel plan, or use Manage billing there. A cancelled plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and is not renewed; partial periods are not refunded.
Do the people I invite need a plan?
No. Members use the plan of the artist’s owner: the artist and its storage count against the owner’s plan, and sharing costs nothing extra on any plan.
How does storage work?
Storage is shared by every artist your account owns: 10 GB on Artist, 50 GB on Roster and 200 GB on Manager, or 1 GB, 3 GB and 10 GB on the Lite plans, where an upload can be up to 0.5 GB, 1.5 GB and 5 GB. Files, receipts, pictures, audio and video all count toward it.
Sharing and roles
Can I share an artist with other people?
Yes. Invite members to each artist as owner, admin, editor or viewer; access is set per artist. An artist can have up to 10 members besides its owner, on every plan.
What can each role do?
Owners and admins manage the artist and its members. Editors add and change the artist’s content. Viewers read everything, finances included, but change only their own entry on the members list and their own comments, and they do not see other members’ email addresses.
Music, analytics and imports
Where do the analytics come from?
From Soundcharts: monthly listeners, followers, streams and views, playlists, charts and radio, refreshed twice a day. Apple Music plays, listeners, purchases and Shazams come from the Apple Music for Artists exports you import.
How does MESH find my music?
Link one Spotify, Apple Music or Deezer artist page and MESH autofills your releases, songs, covers, dates, identifiers and numbers. Splits, money and members are entered by you.
Why does MESH show “Powered by Soundcharts”?
The audience figures are Soundcharts’ data, and the credit appears wherever they do. For the same reason, an exported press kit carries what you entered, without audience figures.
What can I import?
Apple Music for Artists exports (songs, albums, countries and cities, as CSV files), SubmitHub campaign exports, and your Bandcamp sales once your store is connected.
Money and currencies
Which currencies does MESH use?
Each artist keeps its money in one currency: US, Canadian, Australian or New Zealand dollars, euros or pounds sterling. A figure typed in another of them converts at that day’s rate, and the typed figure is kept beside it.
Your data
Where is my data kept?
The database and files are held by Supabase in the United States (Oregon), and audio and video by Cloudflare. The privacy policy names every provider and what each one does.
Who owns what I put in MESH?
You do. Your songs, files, finances and the rest remain yours; MESH Music Ltd. holds only the licence it needs to run the service, as the Terms of Service set out.
Can I get a copy of my data?
Yes. Download my data in Settings saves everything MESH holds about you as one file. The owner of an artist can also download that artist: its records and files as a zip.
How do I delete my account?
In Settings, press Delete my account; MESH asks for your email address and a fresh code. An account that owns an artist hands it over or deletes it first. You are signed out at once and the account is erased 30 days later; signing in before then and pressing Keep my account undoes it. Each artist keeps its own records.
